What to expect at Rectory Farm in 2022

The Farm Shop is a hive of activity at the moment: the walls are getting a lick of paint, we’ve got lots of new seating in the cafe, new signage is being produced, flower beds are being installed, and work is going on all over the farm getting the grounds spick and span for PYO from mid-May. […]

The Farm Shop is a hive of activity at the moment: the walls are getting a lick of paint, we’ve got lots of new seating in the cafe, new signage is being produced, flower beds are being installed, and work is going on all over the farm getting the grounds spick and span for PYO from mid-May.

We also have some major announcements to make for 2022:

– Work is about to commence on our brand new adventure playgroundwhich should be ready for its first visitors when we reopen on Thursday 31st March.

– By Easter time we will have our very first milk vending machine in place outside the Farm Shop.

– We are working with some new and very exciting local suppliers to stock our fridges and shelves with in 2022. Including some very tasty ice cream

There is more to tell, but all in good time. Safe to say we have a packed year of PYO in store for you, starting with rhubarb in a few weeks and finishing up with acres of pumpkins in October. And plenty of strawberries, raspberries and flowers in between!

We really look forward to welcoming you back to Rectory Farm shop and cafe from Thursday 31st March.
