Situated nearby in Worminghall, Thomley is more than just a charity; it’s a lifeline for individuals with disabilities and their families. Their commitment to providing a safe, inclusive space where everyone is welcomed and celebrated mirrors our own values here at the farm.
Thomley’s offerings are diverse and enriching, catering to a wide range of interests and needs. From sensory experiences to outdoor adventures, from educational workshops to family support services, Thomley ensures that every person who walks through their doors feels valued and included.
Throughout the year, we’re excited to host a series of events aimed at supporting Thomley’s mission. We started this with our Easter Trail in April, raising over £300 in donations from customers taking part in this holiday activity. We have fundraising buckets at our till points where customers can donate spare change, and we have some big plans for later in the year, too.
On September 21st and 22nd this year we will be putting on a Tractor Festival in collaboration with Thomley and to celebrate our 70th year of farming. This will be a packed weekend of harvest fun in our fields: vintage ploughing matches, tractor displays with New Holland, creative workshops run by Thomley, potato harvesting demonstrations, activities such as archery, and local food and coffee trucks – with 50% of ticket sales donated to Thomley.
