What’s on at Rectory Farm Pick Your Own

Farm shop, cafe & pyo open

Visit us for breakfast, lunch, a gelato, or coffee and a slice of cake and a play on our new adventure playground! Breakfast is served from 9.30 – 11.30 and lunch from 12 – 2.30pm. At present we have raspberries, strawberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, broad beans, courgettes and pinks (carnations) for PYO, so bring your own carrier bags and picking containers and enjoy some time in the fields picking your own beautiful produce.

Read our pick your own pages for advice on opening hours and how to pick, and keep an eye on our news page & social media for weekly recipes using our own farm produce.

Don’t forget to fill up at our new milk machine dispensing fresh, pasteurised local milk from North Cotswolds Dairy. Either bring your own bottles (machine dispenses one litre per sale) or buy one of our branded bottles in the farm shop. We now have flavoured syrup shots available at the vending to add to your milk – keep your eye out for new flavours!

Our farm shop is open all day, stocked with fresh produce from our farm and the best local suppliers, baking ingredients, award winning cheeses, homemade cakes and biscuits, locally-made jams, artisan confectionery, snacks, locally-produced meats, and – a new addition for 2022 – eco friendly household cleaning products and pet food.

Café

You’ll find The Tractor Shack Café at the back of the farm shop, where you can treat yourself to an excellent Coffee Mongers coffee or cup of teapigs tea, freshly pressed fruit juices, Hooray's gelato and our famous wonky strawberry milkshakes in the summer months.

Choose a slice of homemade cake - including plenty of gluten free and vegan options - a freshly baked croissant, a mug of homemade seasonal soup or a tasty panini, a slice of quiche, a Ploughman’s lunch or a generous Rectory Farm salad created from plenty of our own fresh farm produce, plus the very best of what else we sell in the shop.

Farm shop

Rectory Farm Shop is open April – October, plus a bonus four weeks at Christmas. We sell all our own homegrown produce when in season - including several varieties of our own potatoes - picked and on the shelves within a few hours.

We work hard to source the best quality local products from Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the Cotswolds. In our fridges you’ll find local poultry, lamb and beef from D'Oyley's Farm in Stadhampton, pies and sausage rolls from Eadles Farm in neighbouring Beckley village, award winning organic cheeses from Nettlebed Creamery, North Cotswolds Dairy milk, and traditional farmhouse Cotswold Butter – plus all manner of condiments and cooking sauces, baking supplies, biscuits, pantry essentials, free range eggs and milk. Our bread and pastries arrive freshly baked each morning from the Natural Bread Company in Oxford and Degustibus artisan bakers in Abingdon.
