You might have spotted a bright pink milk vending machine to the right of the farm shop if you’ve visited us recently. We’ve now had our first delivery of pasteurised, non-homogenised, DELICIOUS creamy milk from North Cotswolds Dairy Co in Oxfordshire and the machine is now ready to dispense, 7am – 7pm, 7 days a week. This milk really is delicious: creamy and thick!
North Cotswolds Dairy is a family run dairy farm in Long Compton on the edge of the Cotswolds. Their milk comes from the Markbury Herd, and is pasteurised on the farm. Pete’s Holstein girls graze the lush hills of the Cotswolds during the warmer months and are housed during the cold wet months. Imogen took these sweet pictures of some of the girls on a recent visit to the farm. The one in the picture below is called Belle…
Bring your own bottles (or buy our own RF branded 1 litre bottles in the shop for £2.50 each), and follow the instructions on the machine to pay for your milk and fill your bottle. Card payments only, and one litre per transaction (so if you’d like 2 or more bottles filled, repeat the process from the start!)
To celebrate this exciting new addition to the farm, we are giving away a FREE litre of milk to the first 50 customers to purchase a Rectory Farm milk bottle in the farm shop, starting from 10am Friday 29th April. See you soon!
