As we come to the end of March and look towards Easter there is lots going on behind the scenes: we have pruned and tied up all our blackberries and you’ll notice new planters out the front of the farm shop which are about to be planted up with lots of colourful blooms.
We’ve been skinning (covering) our tunnels in patches of fine weather and drilled some beans in the fields, planted our first strawberry plants and have taken delivery of potato seed ready for April sowing.
Soon we’ll be painting our outdoor benches in some funky colours and we’re making Pumpkin Plans for October…
Do join us for Afternoon Tea on Good Friday or Easter Saturday and do make time to enjoy a countryside walk around the farm – or take on our Mad Hatter’s Spring Trail – before or after your tea! The spring pop up is bursting with colourful, handcrafted gifts and homewares for this new season, and the cafe is serving up breakfasts, pastries and tasty lunches daily Tuesday – Sunday.
