School & group Trips

WE CAN ACCOMMODATE GROUPS ON THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS

There is simply no better way to learn about where our food comes from than through first-hand experience. By involving children in the growing process, talking about seasonality and sustainability and bringing to life the natural cycles of our crops we will raise a generation of good food lovers.

We offer tailor-made group visits for schools, pre-schools, youth groups, charities, and interest groups – adults and children alike. A 45 minute walking tour of the farm is free of charge, and we can provide snacks, lunches and PYO punnets at a competitive price per head.

Whether you’d like a guided tour of our fruit patches, a topic-specific school trip focussing on a particular crop or a Q&A with our farm team, fill out our enquiry form and return it to [email protected]

Event Catering

Let the Tractor Shack Café take care of your next event: we can prepare and supply team and conference lunches, family picnics, and finger food for wakes, parties and Christenings.

Café manager Jax will work to your brief, dietary requirements and budget to deliver a delicious spread that ticks all the boxes, whether you need a spread of freshly made sandwiches and wraps, platters of homemade quiches, brownies and cakes, crudites, crisps and more.

We work with local suppliers to ensure that everything we serve out of our busy kitchen is of the best quality and presented with the utmost pride and care. Our bread comes in fresh daily from Oxford and Abingdon, we source our meats from Eadles Farm in Beckley and D’Oyley’s Farm in Stadhampton, our Free Range eggs come from Mayfield in Witney and our tantalising array of cakes and cakes are made by Paul from Cotswold Baking – or baked in house by Jane.

To enquire about event catering please download and fill out our enquiry form below giving as much detail as possible, and return it to [email protected].

The Rectory Farm picking season runs from April - October, starting with asparagus and finishing with pumpkins.

Our strawberries ripen up at the start of May and finish into September. Check out our PYO page to see what's in season when, and for lots of recipe ideas.

Plan your visit

Enjoy a day out at Rectory Farm picking all your favourite fruit and vegetables to take home and enjoy. Remember to bring your own punnets and carrier bags to help us reduce plastic use.

Visit the shop from March - December to stock up on kitchen essentials and all our ready-picked fruit and vegetables if you’re short on time.
